Weddings
Log Cabin is an ideal setting for weddings. Our congregation has joined together to make this aspect of our ministry of hospitality possible. From our chapel to our reception hall, our accommodations offer a beautiful and spiritual environment that will complement your memorable occasion.

The auditorium of the chapel is approximately 36' x 26' with one double (entrance/exit) door. The Chapel will seat approximately 150 people. There are 11 pews on each side of the center aisle. Each pew will seat 7 adults comfortably. There are two tables 15 x 15 x 30 high and one 20 x 40 x 23 high.
 
As an alternative to the Chapel, several weddings have been held outside on the church grounds. The most popular spot is the beautiful memorial garden outside the Lodge. Folding chairs are available for outside use.

More About Our Space
 
The chancel of the Chapel is 26' x 12' and includes a small area for a choir on the left, a lecturn on the right, and Baldwin piano and Allen organ located in the center. The center aisle area of the chancel has an open space of approximately 6' x 6' in front of the piano and organ. The chancel floor is elevated two steps above the auditorium floor.
 
Log Cabin furnishes quite a number of decorative items for your use--candelabra, candles, kneeling bench, silk flower arrangements, a large selection of pew bows, a floral arch, and other items are all available.
 
In March of 2005, a new heating and air conditioning unit was installed in the Chapel. There are four windows on each side of the pews (total of eight) and four windows at the entrance. The bride's suite has two sitting rooms, a rest room, and a private dressing room.
 
The small Log Cabin is normally used by the groom and his ushers. A second rest room is located in the back of the chapel for wedding guests. All buildings have central heating and air conditioning.
 
The Reception Hall is located at the rear of the church grounds about 200' from the street. The assembly area of this building is approximately 40' x 20'. The kitchen is approximately 20' x 12'. The Reception Hall is centrally heated and air conditioned. There are two rest rooms in this building.

The Reception Hall is furnished with five folding tables (30" x 96"), five folding tables (30" x 71"), 29 folding metal chairs, and 29 wooden cane-bottom chairs. The interior is rustic with a stone fireplace. There are three round tables suitable for the bride's register book and for the wedding cakes. All the tables are 28" high (measurement used for skirts or tablecloths). The kitchen furnishings include two stoves (one gas and one electric) and a large refrigerator.
